The SMSL D12 is a compact and performant DAC, using an AKM AK4493S digital to analog conversion chip to provide dynamic, musical and accurate sound. This one, in association with a modern USB interface XMOS XU316, also allows the support of high resolution audio streams up to PCM 32bit 768kHz, DSD512, as well as the decoding of MQA files. On the connectivity side, the D12 is simple and efficient with USB-C input and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connectivity. The output is done in RCA or via the headphone output 6.35mm on the front.
