SMSL DL100 DAC CS43131*4 Headphone Amplifier XMOS XU316 Bluetooth 5.1 LDAC 32bit 768kHz DSD256 MQA-CD
With the DL100, SMSL offers us a high-performance DAC incorporating quality components such as a combo of 4 Cirrus Logic CS43131 chips, an XMOS XU-316 USB interface and a Qualcomm Bluetooth receiver chip. The DL100 is capable of decoding high sampling rates, up to PCM 32bit 768kHz, DSD256 and DoP 64. It is also capable of decoding MQA files up to MQA-CD. But that's not all: the DL100 also doubles up as a headphone amplifier with its two balanced 6.35mm and 4.4mm jack outputs and dedicated amplifier circuit comprising 3 OPA1612a amplifiers.
SMSL DL100 : 4 DAC chips
SMSL's DL100 is a device capable of decoding up to PCM 32bit 768kHz, DSD256 without prior conversion and in DoP64 for optical and coaxial inputs. This is thanks to four Cirrus Logic CS43131 DAC chips working together to give you the cleanest, most accurate conversion possible.
SMSL DL100 : USB XMOS XU316
The USB XMOS XU316 interface on a USB-C port can operate in 2.0 or 1.1 mode. The 2.0 interface requires a driver and supports 32bit 768kHz and DSD256. The 1.1 interface supports up to 24bits 96kHz without a driver, so you can connect a wide range of sources such as consoles (PS5, XBOX, Switch, etc), your TV or Android devices.
SMSL DL100 : Bluetooth 5.1
A Qualcomm Bluetooth receiver chip enables transmission of LDAC 24bit/96kHz, aptX HD, aptX, SBC and ACC formats.
SMSL DL100 : Dedicated amplifier circuit
On the front of the DL100, there are two headphone outputs. A 6.35mm jack output and a balanced 4.4mm jack output. Thanks to a dedicated amplification circuit comprising three OPA1612a chips, the DL100 boasts headphone output power of 2x3W at 16Ω.
SMSL DL100 : Remote control
An infrared remote control allows you to operate the DL100 remotely for a more enjoyable listening experience. You can adjust all the settings available in the DL100 menu.
SMSL DL100 : 5 PCM filters
The DL100 incorporates 5 filters that can be used during the conversion of a PCM signal to an analogue signal. Each filter acts on high frequencies above 20 kHz.
