The SMSL DO100 PRO balanced DAC is an evolution of the DO100 offered by the brand. The DO100 PRO benefits from numerous improvements. It features two ES9039Q2M DAC chips and a third-generation XU316 USB XMOS interface, enabling it to support high-resolution streams up to PCM 32bit 768kHz, DSD512 and MQA/MQA-CD. An HDMI ARC port also enables the DO100 PRO to be linked to a TV as well as to active speakers or an amplification system, for a high-quality, immersive sound experience. A QCC5125 Bluetooth receiver chip completes the DO100 PRO's versatility, enabling wireless transmission with high-definition codecs: SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, LDAC. Numerous digital inputs and two balanced RCA and XLR analog outputs make this a device of choice.
SMSL DO100 PRO: HDMI ARC port
An HDMI ARC input on the rear panel of the DO100 PRO enables it to retrieve the sound signal from a television. The DO100 PRO DAC can therefore be combined with a TV, active speakers or an amplification system to offer an immersive home cinema experience.
SMSL DO100 PRO: USB compatibility with video game consoles
The USB-C port on the DO100 PRO is compatible with many video game consoles, including the PS4, PS5 and Nitendo Switch. It supports USB1.1 and USB2.0 protocols.
USB1.1 supports 24bit 96kHz streams only. To take advantage of USB compatibility with the PS5 or Nitendo Switch, the DO100 PRO must be in USB1.1 mode. After switching between USB 2.0 and USB 1.1, the DO100 PRO must be restarted for the change to take effect.
SMSL DO100 PRO: Low-noise power supply
SMSL has developed a low-noise power supply module to cleanly power the entire DO100 PRO.
