SMSL DO200 PRO Blanced DAC 12x CS43131 XMOS XU316 Bluetooth 5.1 LDAC 32bit 768kHz DSD256 MQA/MQA-CD
With its DO200 PRO, SMSL breaks new ground and unveils an ultra-high-performance balanced DAC incorporating no less than twelve Cirrus Logic CS43131 DAC chips and an XMOS XU316 USB interface for ultra-high performance. It supports high-resolution streams up to PCM 32bit 768kHz, native DSD up to DSD256, as well as MQA/MQA-CD streams. The DO200 PRO features wireless connectivity thanks to a Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth chip supporting aptX, aptX-HD and LDAC 24bit/96kHz codecs. One of its major assets is its connectivity and compatibility, made possible by an HDMI ARC port, a USB-C input and optical inputs. Regarding the chassis, we're back to SMSL's slim, sober design, with a color screen that displays information on the track being played and makes it easy to navigate through the DAC DO200 PRO's various parameters.
SMSL DO200 PRO: 12 CS43131 DAC chips and 6 OPA1612 AOPs
Innovative brand SMSL goes so far as to implement 12 Cirrus Logic CS43131 DAC chips in its DO200 PRO DAC, creating a 12-core driver configuration for high processing power and audio resolution. Digital-to-analog conversion is therefore effortless, even for rich signals. Texas Instrument's OPA1612 AOPs are used to amplify and texture the signal at the DO200 PRO's output.
SMSL DO200 PRO: XMOS XU316 USB interface
The DO200 PRO's USB-C input is coupled to a third-generation XMOS XU316 interface, enabling it to support high-resolution PCM 32 bit 768kHz streams, and native DSD up to DSD256 for the most vivid sound reproduction.
SMSL DO200 PRO: HDMI ARC port
The HDMI ARC port on the DO200 PRO lets you retrieve the audio signal from a TV for a slightly more immersive experience, thanks to a combo amplifier and passive speakers, or simply active speakers.
SMSL DO200 PRO: Bluetooth 5.1
A QCC5125 Bluetooth receiver chip enables this DAC to support high-definition wireless transmission codecs: SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD and LDAC 24bit/96kHz. The DO200 PRO can therefore be paired with a smartphone or tablet to enjoy your streaming applications quickly and easily.
SMSL DO200 PRO: compatibility with video game consoles
The DO200 PRO's USB-C port is compatible with both USB1.1 and USB2.0. To enjoy your console, whether PS5 or Nintendo Switch, simply switch to USB1.1 mode. USB 1.1 supports 24bit/96kHz PCM streams. Once your DAC has been switched to USB1.1 mode, simply restart it for the change to take effect.
SMSL DO200 PRO: decoding MQA/MQA-CD streams
MQA x8 and MQA CD files are supported by Toslink optical, SPDIF Coaxial and USB-C inputs for users wishing to enjoy audio files as close as possible to studio recording files.
SMSL DO200 PRO: 2 operating modes and 5 PCM filters
The DO200 features a "VARIABLE" mode for volume adjustment, as well as a "FIXED" mode for a fixed output level. In addition, an adjustable gain via a switch on the underside of the case allows the output level to be adjusted to 4V or 5V. To complete the package, SMSL has integrated 5 PCM filters to adjust the sound according to your preferences or the type of track being played.
SMSL DO200 PRO: IR remote control
The new SMSL RC-8C remote control allows you to remotely control the DO200 PRO for a smooth user experience and easy navigation through settings and parameters.
