SMSL DO300
DAC ES9039MSPro XMOS XU316 Bluetooth 5.0 aptX HD LDAC 32bit 768kHz DSD512 MQA
The SMSL DO300 DAC takes the technical base of the DO200 MKII while updating its components for improved performance. Its digital/analog conversion stage is now equipped with an ES9039MSPro DAC chip, capable of offering a transparent, rich and precise sound reproduction. In combination with an XMOS XU316 USB interface, the DO300 supports high sampling rates, up to 32bit 768kHz PCM, DSD512 as well as MQA and MQA-CD decoding. The clock circuit has also been improved, the DO300 now uses the CK-03 architecture developed by the brand and allowing to reach a very low jitter level.
MQA decoding
MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) is an award-winning British technology that restores the sound of the original recording. The MQA Master file is authenticated by the artists, producers or rights holders. These files are light enough to stream or download.
The DO300 includes an MQA decoder to play these files in order to provide the best possible audio quality. The device also supports the decoding of MQA-CD.
Bluetooth 5.0 - QCC5125
Particularly practical, the DO300, in addition to its connectivity, is equipped with a Bluetooth 5.0 receiver from Qualcomm. This one supports the classic codecs SBC and AAC, as well as the high quality codecs aptX, aptX-HD and LDAC, allowing to reach a restitution close to that of the CD, in wireless.
A readable and practical screen
The DO300 is equipped like its big brother with a beautiful screen, bright and readable, protected by a tempered glass window. This one clearly displays all the essential information for a comfortable use of the device.
Versatile connectivity
The back of DO300 reveals a particularly complete connectic, allowing the DAC to adapt to the great majority of audio systems. On the input side, we find USB-B, I2S via HDMI, AES/EBU, optical, coaxial and of course Bluetooth. On the output side, the DO300 provides single-ended stereo RCA and balanced stereo XLR.
