An updated version of the SU-9 Pro, the SMSL SU-9 Ultra includes all the features that made its predecessor a high-performance DAC, plus a number of improvements. This time, the SU-9 Ultra features an AK4191 digital interface coupled with an AK4499EX DAC chip, both from AKM. This AKM chip combination delivers rich, precise sound reproduction, while decoding high-resolution streams up to PCM 32bit 768kHz, DSD512 and MQA.

Inside this DAC, you'll find high-quality components such as an XMOS XU-316 USB interface, a CK-03 clock circuit that considerably reduces jitter, and a shielded, regulated power supply stage capable of delivering a clean, stable electrical signal.
