Topping unveils with the DX1 a compact, affordable and yet powerful DAC and headphone amplifier combo. It benefits from an optimized design allowing an efficient digital/analog conversion as well as a robust headphone amplification.
AK4493S DAC & XMOS XU208 USB Interface
The DX1 features the brand new AKM AK4493S DAC chip. This ensures a precise and musical conversion, while allowing, in association with the USB XMOS XU208 interface, the support of high resolution audio streams, up to PCM 32bit 384kHz and DSD256.
Discrete LNRD
The Topping DX1 uses a discrete LNRD (Low Noise Reference Driver) circuit to effectively filter out noise and interference from the USB power supply. As a result, the power supply stage is able to provide the DX1's audio circuitry with a clean and stable electrical signal.
The volume of the line output is fixed at its maximum level and is not adjustable.
The headphone outputs and the line output are active simultaneously.
