The DX7 Pro+ has an ESS Sabre ES9038Pro DAC at its heart, taking advantage of the latter's 32bit HyperStream architecture, offering high quality audio performance. Each channel of the DX7 Pro+ is connected in parallel, each using four channels of the DAC chip. It is thus capable of revealing a rich and incredibly precise sound reproduction.
For its DX7 Pro+, Topping has developed a brand new I/V conversion circuit, designed to achieve even better sound quality. It allows to reach a very low level of distortion and noise, while occupying less space. It is also pushed to its limits in order to make the most of the DAC chip's performance.
The NFCA headphone amplifier of the DX7 Pro+ has been specifically optimized for this model, offering very low distortion and noise levels. In addition, it provides a nice power reserve that allows it to work equally well with high sensitivity IEMs or high impedance headphones. Still in this optics of adaptability, the device proposes two adjustments of gain.
As for its headphone outputs, the DX7 Pro+ offers three different formats, in order to adapt to different needs and equipment. There are two balanced outputs with XLR 4 pins and 4.4mm jack, and one single-ended output with 6.35mm jack.
By double-pressing the volume button, it is possible to select an output mode, each of which can be adapted to different usage scenarios.

The DX7 Pro+ has line outputs in XLR balanced and RCA single-ended format. It is thus possible to select to use only the XLR output with the "XLR Only" mode or RCA with the "RCA Only" mode, but also to activate both simultaneously with the "XLR+RCA" option.
The Topping DX7 Pro+ integrates an I2S input using the HDMI connector and allowing to transmit the signal to the ES9038Pro DAC in the most direct way possible. This input supports PCM streams up to 32bit 768kHz and Native DSD up to DSD512. The I2S input provides settings for phase, DSD channels and the ability to select the pin for the DSD indicator. These settings allow the DX7 Pro+ I2S input to be compatible with the vast majority of devices using I2S via HDMI.
The USB input of the DX7 Pro+ is not to be outdone and embeds an 8-core XMOS XU208 interface, compatible with Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android and also supporting high-resolution audio streams, up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD512.
With its Qualcomm QCC5125 chip, the DX7 Pro+ allows you to broadcast your music via Bluetooth, while enjoying excellent sound quality. Indeed, this chip supports the high definition protocols aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive and LDAC, allowing to reach or even exceed the CD quality, in wireless.
Borrowing the sound signature of tube and transistor audio systems, Topping has created a system that simulates both in a single device. It is thus possible to enjoy three different listening modes: standard, tube and transistor.
The DX7 Pro+'s convenient 12V trigger input and output allows for active control (trigger output) or passive control (trigger input). Using only a 3.5mm jack cable (sold separately), the DX7 Pro+ can be turned on and off automatically in full synchronization with other devices equipped with a 12V trigger interface.
