With its M3K, Fiio offers an affordable yet high-performance DAP with a simple but effective design. DAC AK4376A, high-resolution files and DSD, high battery life, powerful processor and practical features are all available with this portable player with an extremely good price/quality ratio.
The M3K differs from the other DAPs in this price range by integrating a powerful Ingenic X1000E processor. This CPU offers high performance with very low power consumption. This allows for a smooth user experience, while maintaining a high level of autonomy.
The Fiio DAP uses a proven AKM AKM AK4376A DAC. It is capable of decoding PCM files up to 32bit 384kHz with extremely low noise. Thanks to this converter, the M3K is able to deliver a rich and detailed sound reproduction.
Thanks to its low-power X1000E processor, the M3K has an extended battery life of up to 24 hours in playback and 38 days in standby. In concrete terms, this means that if you listen to your music for 3h30 every day, the M3K can last 1 week before it needs to be recharged.
With the M3K's built-in high quality microphone, you can record audio whenever you want, wherever you are. And thanks to the high reading performance of the walkman, you can enjoy these moments as if you were there.
With this new AB playback feature, you can compare and loop two different tracks as many times as you like. Useful, for example, to highlight the differences between two audio files.
The M3K supports many file formats, including lossless files, so you don't have to convert your files yourself. CUE files containing information from a CD and LRC corresponding to the lyrics of the music are also supported.

The M3K is one of the few DAPs in this price range that can be used as a USB DAC. This will allow you to take advantage of the DAC function of the DAP with another source such as a computer for example. In this mode of use, the supported sampling rates are up to 24bit 192kHz. With a MacOS computer, the M3K is automatically recognized and does not require driver installation. With a PC running Windows it will be enough to install the driver provided by Fiio.
The FiiO M3K allows you to transfer files from any connected OTG USB device. You can transfer your music from a computer in a classic way or directly from your smartphone (if also OTG compatible).
Note : USB OTG transfer only works with Android smartphones at the moment.
The M3K's body is made of a unibody Aluminium block and comes with tempered glass to effectively protect the touch screen. This design offers the DAP an elegant and sober design, while giving it great resistance and therefore increased durability. In addition, the size of the walkman is designed so that it can be used with one hand.
For its navigation, the M3K integrates capacitive buttons with a touchpad, more practical than traditional physical controls. These buttons will allow you to access all the functions of the device: next / previous track, validate, return, access to the menu... The buttons are also backlit, allowing you to use the M3K even in dark places where even when the display is off for less power consumption and longer battery life.
The M3K is equipped with a beautiful 2" bright IPS display on its front panel. This allows you to display all the information about your audio files and the current playback. As an IPS slab, it has wide viewing angles and high brightness for outdoor use.
The interface proposed by M3K is based on a Linux version totally customized by Fiio to achieve both an ergonomic and aesthetic result. This interface will allow you to enjoy your music very simply and access all the information in your audio files.
Since a DAP is dedicated to following you on your travels, it is not uncommon for unwanted support to occur when the device is in your pocket or bag. To solve this problem, the M3K can be locked. To unlock it, simply press the Power button or slide your finger up on the touchpad. In addition, the M3K has a clock that allows you to keep an eye on the time during your long listening sessions.
So that you can adapt the playback of the M3K to your listening and musical styles, the DAP offers a 5-band graphic equalizer with 7 predefined profiles: rock, classical, jazz, pop, dance, metal, vocal.
In order to store all your high quality audio files, the Fiio M3K supports Micro SD cards (sold separately) up to 2TB (when available). Such memory capacity allows you to take many songs with you so you no longer have to make a careful selection from your audio library.
The M3K has been certified Hi-Res by the Japan Audio Society. This label is the assurance of high resolution file support and therefore high audio quality.
