Digital Audio Player DAP Balanced 2x ES9219C Bluetooth 32bit 384kHz DSD256 MQA
The AP80 Pro-X from Hidizs is a compact and powerful digital music player, benefiting from both a neat design and quality components. Behind a 2.45" IPS touch screen are two ESS ES9219C DACs, a powerful FPGA, a Bluetooth chip and a large battery. The AP80 Pro-X is as versatile as it is efficient in terms of sound reproduction.
The AP80 Pro-X uses a dual ESS ES9219C DAC, ensuring excellent dynamic range (+121dB) and extremely low distortion (SNR 130dB / THD+N -114dB). These chips also enable support for high resolution streams, up to 32bit 384kHz PCM and DSD256. The AP80 Pro-X also offers an output level of up to 2Vrms with an analog gain control to reduce output noise and achieve a rich and accurate sound reproduction.
The new Hidizs DAP also supports MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) technology, allowing playback of MQA audio files, delivering sound as close as possible to the original recording.
With its onboard HBC3000 FPGA, the AP80 Pro-X supports native DSD up to DSD256. The FPGA also enables clock processing to reduce jitter and promote clear playback.
Although compact, the AP80 Pro-X offers a double output. There is a single-ended 3.5mm jack output and a balanced 4.4mm jack output. The design is not left out either, with a sublime CNC machined aluminum alloy chassis. The edge of the device is equipped with a particularly precise ALPS volume control.
The AP80 Pro-X supports bi-directional Bluetooth 4.2 as well as HiBy UAT, Sony LDAC and CSR aptX codecs. It ensures high quality wireless playback.
The DAP has an 800mAh battery providing comfortable autonomy for use throughout the day. The AP80 Pro-X has a 40 days standby time, 6 to 8 hours for balanced listening and 8 to 11 hours for single-ended listening.
