The DX180 from iBasso is an audiophile DAP of excellent quality. It benefits from a meticulous design incorporating four CS43131 DAC chips, delivering faithful, accurate and dynamic sound reproduction with a sampling rate of up to DSD512 and PCM 32 bit 768kHz. It's also packed with practical features and uses an Android-based operating system that's intuitive, fast and flexible.
iBasso DX180 : CS43131 DAC chip and FPGA-MASTER 2.0 controller
The DX180 uses a Cirrus Logic CS43131 DAC chip, offering an impressive dynamic range of 130dB and an incredibly low harmonic distortion of -115dB. This chip is mounted in a matrix of 4, working in unison to exceed their individual theoretical technical limits. As a result, the rate of harmonic distortion measured in this configuration is -121 dB, offering crystal-clear, flawless reproduction. This is made possible by the FPGA-MASTER 2.0 controller developed by the brand, which synchronises all the data from the DAC chips using two internal femtosecond clocks and produces the FIR filter from this data.
iBasso DX180 : Incredibly low noise levels
The DX180 boasts an impressive noise figure of just 0.79µV. Even at the highest volume and with significant gain, the noise floor of the balanced port is just 1.1V. With a noise floor of -120dB on the line output and -116dB on the 4.4mm jack output, you're guaranteed the purest possible sound reproduction of your tracks.
iBasso DX180 : SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 665
The DX180 uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, with its 8-core architecture and 11nm etch fineness to reduce heat generation and improve stability, to ensure smooth, enjoyable browsing, and furthermore supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. Thanks to Micro SD card expansion, the DX180 can offer up to 2TB of additional storage space.
iBasso DX180 : Android 13
The DX180 is equipped with Android 13, allowing you to freely install streaming applications and enjoy the convenience that Android offers. The DX180 bypasses SRC at the system level, so whether it's the Mango player or third-party streaming apps, you can enjoy ‘Non-SRC’ at the system level and enjoy your music files in high resolution.
