The iBasso DX260, the brand's new digital audio player, is a true concentrate of technology. Featuring a perfectly optimized design and audiophile-grade components, it offers a beautifully rich listening experience. Its new interface guarantees intuitive, fluid navigation and seamless operation.
The iBasso DX260 features 8 high-end Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC chips. These offer excellent performance, with a wide dynamic range, incredible reproduction of micro-detail and extremely low noise floor.
This Octa DAC matrix and its integration guarantee both superb sound quality and exceptional measurements with a THD+N of up to -123dB.
After years of development work on a high-performance algorithm, the FPGA-Master has now reached version 2.0. As an audio controller, it retrieves audio data directly from the SoC and plays a major role in reproducing the signal and maintaining its integrity. It synchronizes and generates all audio clocks using two NDK femtosecond oscillators for total synchronization of clock sources. The FPGA-Master 2.0 also features extremely precise control and adjusts the DAC clock, data and builds the FIR filter.
Thanks to the new FPGA-Master 2.0 algorithm, the potential of the 8 CS43198 DACs is maximized.
Parallel synchronous output mode :
Reduces distortion between DAC chips to improve overall performance.
FIR 2x mode, FIR 4x mode :
With FPGA-Master 2.0, picosecond control and precise adjustment of the DAC clock is implemented, allowing independent adjustment for each conversion chip. Through this architecture, the DACs form an analog FIR filter that reduces distortion while improving sonic accuracy.
At the heart of the iBasso DX260 is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. This design ensures smooth operation.
The DX260 benefits from an OS based on Android 11, enabling the installation of numerous streaming applications. The DX260 effectively bypasses SRC at system level. Whether with its Mango player or a third-party streaming application, you can enjoy exceptional sound quality.
The iBasso DX260 also uses Mango OS, a Linux audio system meticulously designed to deliver excellent playback performance. Over time, this system has benefited from numerous optimizations to its algorithms, focusing on audio playback. Resolutely audiophile, this system generates no WiFi or Bluetooth interference, has very low EMI levels and offers a pure listening experience.
With its dedicated USB receiver, the DX260 can also be used as a low-latency USB DAC. It also supports ASIO / WASAPI drivers, so you can easily enhance your computer's sound reproduction.
The new Mango player interface offers a revamped design and an optimized user experience. Navigation is fluid and intuitive, and the DAP is a pleasure to use.
Introducing the brand's new ID design, the DX260 sports a more industrial look. Its rear panel can be removed, providing access to the battery for easy replacement.
