SHANLING M5 ULTRA Digital Audio Player Silver

The new DAP Shanling M5 Ultra is equipped with cutting-edge components and a new look, making it an original device. It features the AKM AK4499EX + AK4191EQ chip combo, as well as a USB XMOS XU316 interface, enabling it to support high-resolution PCM 32bit 768kHz and native DSD streams up to DSD512. The M5 Ultra features the same I/V conversion stage as the brand's M9 Plus for perfect conversion quality.

On the amplification side, it features a TPA6120A2 chip for output power of up to 1070 mW at 32 Ohm. Many other features are available, such as bi-directional Bluetooth 5.2. In terms of connectivity, it works with WiFi 2.4/5G and supports DLNA and Airplay protocols, enabling it to connect to a NAS, for example. It also natively supports the TIDAL streaming service.

Regarding its appearance, Shanling has opted for sobriety, with a 4.7" IPS touchscreen and elegant angled curves on the edge. The connectivity interface goes straight to the essential, with a bi-directional USB-C port, a microSD slot up to 2TB and, of course, two headphone outputs: a 3.5mm jack and a balanced 4.4mm jack.
