R2R Ladder DAC

Unlike many DACs on the market that use delta-sigma digital-to-analog conversion chips, the EF600 chooses to use the R2R ladder conversion method. This particular approach uses a network of high precision resistors for a musical, lively and clear listening.

Bluetooth HD Reception

Balanced or single-ended, you choose

Both on the input and output sides, the HifiMan EF600 offers balanced and single-ended connections. Thus, on the input side, in addition to its digital connections in coaxial, USB-C and USB-B format, the device provides balanced XLR and single-ended RCA. In the same way, for its outputs, the EF600 provides balanced XLR 4 pins and unbalanced Jack 6.35mm for the headphone output, and balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA for the line output.

A lot of power to spare

With no less than 5W under 32Ω (balanced) available for each channel, the HiFiMan does not lack power. It will therefore have no trouble accompanying the vast majority of headphones, including the most demanding high-impedance models.
