The stereo input is via a very low distortion fast JFET transistor stage accompanied by a bipolar stage assisted by a class A Mosfet stage. The tube stage is amplified by two 5670 GEs as close as possible to the ALPS "Black Beauty" potentiometer. "6-track in true balanced mode.

Thus the iFi pro iCAN SIGNATURE stereo preamplifier is fully symmetrical from input to output on a 4-layer printed circuit.

The circuit diagram fully optimized in current-coupled mode has no capacitors in its path that could degrade the original signal.
