The Monolith Liquid Spark DAC is a compact digital/analog converter developed by Alex Cavalli. It offers excellent audio quality and is especially designed to work in conjunction with the Monolith Liquid Spark headphone amplifier.
This DAC uses an AKM AK4493EQ conversion chip, a 32bit XMOS XU208 32bit multi-core USB microcontroller and ultra-low phase noise clock for outstanding sound and performance. As a result, this DAC will enable you to significantly improve the sound reproduction of a computer, smartphone, tablet or other digital playback device.
Alex Cavalli has focused on audio circuit design and engineering, particularly headphone amplifiers, for over 18 years. Trained in 2011 with a particular passion for DIY, he is eager to offer exceptional products. He has created some of the most acclaimed headphone amplifiers of the last decade, including Liquid Fire, Liquid Gold, Liquid Crimson and Liquid Glass. The AKM AK4493 digital/analog conversion chip is the new 32bit stereo flagship of the brand. It supports PCM streams up to 768kHz and DSD up to DSD128. An internal circuit incorporates a brand new 32bit digital filter for ultimate sound reproduction and musicality.
The Liquid Spark DAC offers rich connectivity to adapt to the needs of each user. It has USB, Coaxial and Optical inputs, allowing you to connect all your digital peripherals.
