SMSL H300
Amplificateur casque / Préamplificateur symétrique 10W 16 Ohm
The SMSL H300 performs the functions of a balanced headphone amplifier and preamplifier. It is capable of driving a wide range of headphones, thanks to its output power of 10W at 16Ω and 5W at 32Ω. Its amplifier stage incorporates no fewer than 64 mini OPAs. This headphone amplifier has a balanced design and very low distortion and noise levels. It can also be used as a balanced preamplifier thanks to its XLR and RCA outputs. Its sober, compact design makes it the perfect ally for your desktop audio system.
A high-performance balanced amplifier stage
Its fully balanced audio circuit incorporates 4 low-distortion linear feedback loops. Each channel has 32 low-noise mini OPAs. This is where the H300 gets its high output power (10W into 16Ω and 5W into 32Ω).
It also features three different headphone outputs: a balanced 4.4mm jack, a balanced 4-pin XLR and a single-ended 6.35mm jack. This allows it to adapt to the vast majority of headphones and IEMs available on the market.
An efficient interface with optimized gain levels for headphones
The H300's interface is simple and effective. It uses toggle switches and a volume potentiometer. The main options are the selection of input (RCA / XLR) and output (headphone amplifier / preamplifier).
SMSL has also equipped the H300 with a 3-position gain control (Low / Mid / High) allowing you to adapt the output level to your listening equipment and its requirements.
On balanced outputs, the gain values are as follows:
Low -6dB / Medium 6dB / High 24.5dB.
On the single-ended 6.35mm jack output, gain values are as follows:
Low -11.5dB / Medium 0dB / High 18.5dB.
A high-performance, ultra-low-noise power supply system
The H300 by SMSL incorporates an ultra-low-noise power supply module specially designed by SMSL. The power supply also incorporates an overvoltage and overload protection system.
A relay system also suppresses any noise caused by input/output changes during playback or start-up for a clean, smooth listening experience.
Compact design
The proportions of the H300 housing make it an ideal companion for your desktop HiFi system. The use of an aluminum chassis limits the appearance of noise by blocking interference. The SMSL H300 can therefore share its environment easily with other HiFi devices.
