SMSL SH-X Balanced Headphone Amplifier
The SMSL SH-X balanced headphone amplifier is a powerful, compact headphone amplifier featuring no less than 80 low-noise operational amplifiers. It features good measurements, with an SNR of 137dB and a THD+N < 0.00005%. The SH-X features three gain levels and an IPS color display on the front panel. In terms of connectivity, it features a stereo RCA and stereo balanced XLR input, as well as 3 headphone outputs: 6.35mm jack, 4.4mm balanced jack and 4-pin XLR. There are also two line outputs for use as preamplifiers: stereo RCA and balanced stereo XLR.
SMSL SH-X: a powerful headphone amplifier
SMSL's SH-X delivers power up to 2x11.5W at 16 ohms, and up to 2x5.5W at 32 ohms. This makes it compatible with the majority of headphones on the market. In fact, it can drive high-impedance headphones with 2x600mW of power at 300 ohm and 2x300mW at 600 ohm.
SMSL SH-X: 3 levels of gain
The SH-X features 3 gain levels. With -2dB (low), 6dB (Mid), and 23dB (High) for its balanced interface and -8dB (Low), 0dB (Mid), and 17dB (High) for its unbalanced interface. This allows you to optimize the output level in relation to your headphones or in-ear monitors, if required.
