This module interfaces a stereo analog signal to a high-resolution digital signal. The output signal is encoded in PCM 192kHz via I2S, making it compatible with digital processing equipment with demanding audio format requirements.

Its primary function is to enable digital filtering, parametric equalization or any other acoustic correction via a digital processor (in particular, room correction). Secondarily, this converter is also useful for connecting an analog source to an all-digital amplifier (FDA) or any other device operating solely with digital inputs.

Analog input is via two RCA ports (right/left). These feature a tinned conductor with gold plating to improve overall conductivity and refine signal precision. There's also an auxiliary input (AUX) on a 3.5mm female jack. Likewise, the conductors for this input are gold-plated and designed for high-quality audio.

Analog/digital conversion takes place via a Cirrus Logic WM8782 chip. This chip is capable of sampling an analog signal into a 192kHz digital signal.

Built-in clock and slave mode


The module has its own built-in 24.576MHz clock. To use the module as a stand-alone unit, a jumper is supplied with the PCB. It is also possible to inject an external clock into the MCLK IN input. The module can therefore be used both stand-alone and in slave mode, and is set using the jumpers supplied. Although this is not its primary function, it is also possible to split the integrated clock output to send it to other modules or devices.

Chouette petit module
Très bon module pour entrer en I2S dans un DSP. Je l'aurais noté 5 étoiles, si les embases RCA étaient de meilleure qualité, voir carrément absentes.
Et avec la possibilité d'insérer soi-même des embases qualitatives, avec les bons pas, comme des WBT-0234 par exemple.

I'm looking for the same thing, but I need to use it with HiFiBerry Dac+ Dsp to apply Dsp filters; and I could not figure out how to use this ADC with Dac+ Dsp. Do you have any doc that you could share?

Very good product with good price
I was searching for such a product for a long time (analog to I2S) . Here it is and I can execute an analog input for my raspberry project. The sound is very good and it works fine connected to an I2S Input of my dac.
