WM8782 ADC Chip

The A / D conversion takes place through a 24-bit chip AKM5720. The latter is capable of sampling an analog signal to a digital signal of a frequency of 192 kHz.

Built-in clock / slave mode

The module has its own built-in 24.576MHz clock.

To use the module as a stand-alone, a jumper is included with the PCB. Just mount this jumper as shown on the illustrating photography in order to connect the output of the integrated clock OUT to the MCLK IN input.

On the other hand, one can also remove the jumper to inject an external clock into the MCLK IN inlet.

This module can then be used stand-alone as well as in slave mode.

Although this is not its primary function, it is also possible to split the integrated clock output to send it to other modules or devices.
