DENAFRIPS VENUS II 12TH-1 Balanced R2R DAC Silver

The Denafrips Venus II 12Th-1 balanced R-R2R DAC builds on the excellent, award-winning Venus II in an improved version, with enhanced performance and even more musical, richer sound reproduction.

Each channel of this DAC is equipped with an independent high-speed FPGA to facilitate decoding of the digital signal by means of 4 sets of R-2R networks with a tolerance of just 0.005%. The choice of such a design results in very low linearity error, high decoding speed and low digital noise, not only to ensure that the audio signal has extremely low distortion, but also to ensure very low background noise for the most accurate and transparent reproduction possible.

All digital inputs pass through the FIFO buffer and are re-clocked by the integrated TCXO clock. Excellent word-clock jitter rejection makes Denafrips Venus II 12Th-1 less dependent on the quality of the source equipment's clock.

The Venus II 12Th-1 power supply uses a dedicated linear power supply, isolated in a 1.5mm-thick metal alloy housing to drastically limit interference with audio circuits. In addition, two 80VA O-Core transformers supply the DAC's digital and analog sections independently, and a number of low ESR capacitors provide a good energy reserve while filtering the electrical signal.
