The Mytek Brooklyn DAC+ is an audiophile digital-to-analog converter compatible with a multitude of high-resolution audio formats. It supports PCM streams up to 32bit 384kHz, DSD up to DSD256 but also MQA. Particularly versatile, the Brooklyn DAC+ is also a phono preamplifier and headphone amplifier.

Its numerous inputs allow the connection of the vast majority of HiFi devices. We can find USB-B, Coaxial SPDIF, Toslink Optics and AES/EBU. On the output side, the device offers unbalanced RCA, balanced XLR but also two headphone outputs amplified on 6.35mm jack, capable of delivering a consequent power of 6W.

A high-performance conversion stage

The conversion stage of the Brooklyn DAC+ is based on an ESS Sabre 9028Pro chip, known and recognized by audiophiles for its audio performance. It provides perfect support for the vast majority of high-resolution file formats such as DSD, DXD, MQA and PCM up to 32bit 384kHz. Renowned for its precision, low noise and high dynamic range, this DAC will help you get the most out of your music. It is here associated with an extremely precise clock generator to obtain a very low jitter of 0.82ps. When the Brooklyn Bridge is used in USB with a computer, its DAC is coupled to an NXP controller, ensuring an incredibly accurate digital to analog conversion.

Integrated phono preamplifier

In addition to its DAC function, the Mytek Brooklyn DAC+ also includes a phono preamplification stage. This uses a specifically selected transformer associated with a relay to select the input level. The device is therefore compatible with turntables with MM (Moving Magnet) or MC (Moving Coil) cells.

This phono preamplifier can also be turned off, in order to use a preamplified vinyl turntable or any other HiFi device, such as a CD player.

Powerful headphone amplifier

Also benefiting from two headphone outputs in Jack 6.35mm format, the Brooklyn DAC+ will also allow you to enjoy a very high quality headphone listening. Its impedance of 0Ω and its important power of 6W allows it to efficiently accompany the great majority of headphones and earphones, including the most demanding models. This dual headphone output can also be switched to a balanced output.
