Compared to cheap optical fibers with a capacity of 0.4 dB / m and already faulty from a distance of 6 meters, the SC-OCTOPUS driver has a attenuation value of less than 0.16 dB per meter and guarantees excellent retransmission characteristics, also over long distances.
Thanks toa minimum radius of curvature of 30 mm, the SC-OCTOPUS can also be installed in narrow spaces. The optimum wavelength is 660 nm.
