The BerryBak BDC-U multi-functional interface under reference Wondom AA-AB41165 is a Bluetooth/USB to RCA/Optical Toslink/SPDIF coaxial interface. It features audiophile components such as an ES9018K2M DAC chip, a Qualcomm QCC5171 Bluetooth 5.3 receiver chip and a WM8804 SPDIF interface. This enables it to support 24bit 96kHz streams, as well as high-resolution Bluetooth codecs: aptX, aptX HD, aptX Lossless and LDAC. Its inputs, outputs and components make it a versatile, high-performance interface of choice. It boasts a dynamic range of 127dB and a THD+N of -120dB thanks to the ES9018K2M chip, as well as low jitter thanks to the WM8804 chip. On the power supply side, there's a 5V 0.5A USB port and a 12V 0.5A Molex Micro Fit CKT port. The latter port provides an easy connection for those wishing to use this interface within a motorized vehicle such as a car to enhance the existing audio system, by enabling the interface to be powered directly from the vehicle's battery.
This interface benefits from a Qualcomm QCC5171 Bluetooth chip, enabling it to support very high-resolution codecs: SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, aptX Lossless and LDAC. The BerryBak BDC-U interface supports wireless transmission up to 24bit/96kHz with LDAC, and a transmission rate of up to 1Mbps with the aptX Lossless codec. These features offer the very best in wireless transmission.
Equipped with a USB input, the BerryBak BDC-U interface can easily use a source such as a smartphone or computer. This USB input supports sampling rates up to PCM 24bit 96kHz, thanks to the ES9018K2M DAC chip. This DAC chip also gives it a dynamic range of 127dB and a THD+N of -120dB. The WM8804 SPDIF transmitter with advanced jitter attenuation guarantees reliable signal transmission for the clearest, most accurate sound reproduction..
Designed for easy integration into a car audio system, the BerryBak BDC-U features not only a USB-C power port (5V DC 0.5A), but also a 12V 0.5A power port on a Molex Micro Fit 2x2 CKT connector. The latter enables the interface to be connected directly to a vehicle battery. The ACC command synchronizes vehicle and interface starting. It also prevents the interface from drawing energy from the battery unnecessarily when the vehicle is not running.
