The Gaia 12Th USB digital-to-digital converter or digital interface (DDC) from Denafrips is the result of 3 years of research and development by the brand, which benefits from its extensive expertise in the design of DACs and related technologies.

This interface will allow you to extend the digital connectivity of your audio system or computer, while improving sound quality. The data stream of the incoming USB digital signal is stored by the FIFO buffer and then reclocked using the built-in femtosecond clock. This procedure considerably minimises jitter, guaranteeing a signal free of digital noise. Furthermore, the Gaia 12th benefits from galvanic isolation, protecting the signal from electrical interference and maintaining signal integrity throughout the conversion process.

The power supply stage of the Gaia 12Th has also been optimised to provide all the circuits with a clean, stable electrical signal. These include a large 80VA UP-OCC copper O-Core transformer and precision LDO voltage regulators.
