Phriee U2SX Interface USB vers SPDIF SA9023 24bit 96kHz Argent

The Phiree U2SX is a simple, efficient and compact USB to SPDIF and Optical to USB interface. It is based on a Bravo SA9023 chip, supporting sampling rates up to 24bit 96kHz. It also allows AC3 and DTS ES signals to pass through (to another multi-channel decoder).

On this U2SX there is therefore a Micro USB port and a Toslink Optics at the input and a Coaxial connector and a Toslink Optics at the output. The interface allows you to enter Micro USB for Optical or Coaxial output, or to enter Optical to exit Micro USB. All this is integrated into a robust but compact aluminium housing with soft curves.

The Phiree U2S interface is OTG compatible and can therefore be used with smartphones that are also OTG compatible.

Interface reconnue automatiquement par Windows 11, je n'ai pas eu besoin d'installer un driver. Je ne ressens pas de latence entre le flux audio et vidéo géré par le PC.

Excellent rapport qualité prix
Emballage parfait, l'interface est plug 'n play avec windows 10.
Fonctionne parfaitement avec les flux audios, et audio-vidéos avec jriver ( wasapi, kernel)

Matériel réellement plug and play sous Windows 10 Pro. Immédiatement reconnu et fonctionnel en 10 secondes. Boîtier et réalisation soignés. Expédition rapide d'Audiphonics. Je recommande cet article.

Ne marche pas avec ipad et Cambridge
Malheureusement ne fonctionne pas avec un iPad et ampli Cambridge.
Il est bien reconnu côté iPad mais rien ne sort. Branché sur coaxiale.
Testé depuis un pc et ça marche.
Dommage je l’avais pris pour l’iPad. Je renvoie

Si l'appareil est bien reconnu c'est un soucis logiciel (le lecteur ne sait pas adresser de périphérique OTG etc ...).
Dans l'absolu nous ne lui connaissons pas de problème de compatibilité.

Fonctionne bien sous Linux
À condition que le paquet alsa-lib soit à jour (≥1.1.6), le périphérique expose deux interfaces. La première fait DAC + passthrough LPCM en SPDIF (2.0 uniquement évidemment), la seconde fait passthrough DD et DTS (en 5.1).

Dans ces conditions, ce périphérique fonctionne parfaitement.
