With the E2x2, Topping offers an excellent audio interface designed for musicians and audio professionals. This great interface offers a very high level of performance for perfectly transparent recording and playback.
The Topping E2x2 is equipped with an ultra-linear microphone preamplifier module developed by the brand, with an input noise of just -130.5dBu. Even at its maximum volume level, the E2x2 can maintain a very low noise floor, ensuring that every detail of your recording is perfectly captured. This ultra-linear architecture ensures that the audio signal is transmitted with sufficient precision for a perfectly clear and transparent recording.
Equipped with 48V phantom power and a switch to activate or deactivate phantom power, the Topping E2x2 is perfectly compatible with condenser and dynamic microphones.
Topping's unique LNRD module provides a stable reference power level for the AD/DA converter chip, unleashing the chip's full potential for high-purity audio transmission.
With a noise floor of just 0.9uVrms and an output impedance of 1Ω, the Topping E2x2's NFCA-LE headphone amplifier module enables the use of high-sensitivity headphones without distortion and noise.
The Topping E2x2 offers two gain settings, high gain up to +17dBu and output power of 2x580mW at 32Ω. The combination of this high gain and significant output power means that the Topping E2x2 can easily accompany professional headphones with high impedance, up to 600Ω.
Zero-latency design lets you monitor audio effects in real time during recording or mixing, for enhanced productivity.
The volume knobs for the line and headphone outputs use an analog potentiometer, offering excellent precision for easy control of sound level.
Equipped with three 8-channel input mixers, the E2x2 allows easy adjustment and control of audio effects. What's more, its 6 DAW channels and 4 LoopBack channels are designed to adapt to different recording, mixing and playback needs.
The Topping E2x2 adopts an excellent USB XMOS interface, compatible with Windows, Mac, iOS and Android operating systems in particular. It supports high-resolution audio streams for recording and playback, up to PCM 24bit 192kHz.
The Topping E2x2 uses USB-C connectivity for data transmission and power supply. We recommend connecting the auxiliary power connector if the E2x2 is used in conjunction with a desktop computer, or if 48V phantom power is required, to avoid interference. An external power supply is also recommended when the sound card is used with a smartphone.
The Topping E2x2's components are protected by a sturdy, durable aluminum-alloy chassis, sober and modern.
