Audio quality always bluffing
Like its predecessors, the ES9028Q2M delivers truly exceptional sound performance with selected components to ensure the most accurate and clean sound reproduction. Thus, it supports sampling rates up to 32bit 768kHz. Based on proven technologies, the 32bit Hyperstream offers a wider range of dynamics while drastically reducing the jitter that could lead to distortion.
An autonomous system
Like its predecessors, the ES9028Q2M fits perfectly with Raspberry Pi to offer a complete, flexible and powerful DAC. This converter innovates by offering a real hardware control, allowing it to operate in full autonomy, via its input I2S. In addition, installing drivers is no longer required for pto allow the operation of the DAC. These come only in addition to bring you a software management of your device.
An improved user experience
The 9028Q2M, in order to facilitate its use and ensure a high stability is loaded, via its microprocessor, to automatically detect the sampling rate of the source to adapt automatically. Thus, there is no problem decoding the signal and no artefact will appear listening.
Advanced analog output
Including two AOP NJM 2114 powered by 12V on the map corresponding to ESS technical drawings, the latest AOP NJM 2114 buffer finalizes the analog output stage, to ensure optimal playback.
A complete solution
This converter also represents a truly complete solution, allowing you to add a high quality OLED screen for the display of sources, volume and bit rate, as well as a physical volume controller to be able to adjust.the volume simply, without having to go through a software or an application.
Warning: This product contains only the Audiophonics I-Sabre ES9028Q2M DAC. The RaspBerry Pi, OLED screen, rotary encoder, and Kali are sold separately.
An efficient feed stage
Powered by a Micro USB 5V input, the DAC has a particularly well-designed power stage that both ensures a stable signal while reducing residual noise. For this, the PCB incorporates a Mornsun DC / DC converter providing voltage isolation of 3000VDC followed by two regulators and two 16V capacitors for stability.
In addition, as for its predecessor the Raspberry Pi can be powered directly via the GPIO port, thus avoiding multiple connections. You are also free to use a quality linear power supply to further improve the accuracy of decoding.
DietPi compatible
Our I-SABRE ES9028Q2M DAC is 100% compatible with the Open Source DietPi solution. This solution allows to install a dedicated driver to directly control the DAC, and thusrofiter of ESS hardware volume control. This can attenuate the output signal without losses, and thus use the DAC as a true preamplifier
The Dietpi solution is recommended to use Logitech Media server and / or ROON. But also allows to install other applications. Computer skills (SSH connection) are nevertheless necessary to correctly program this solution.

C'est le top ! DAC ISabre ES9028Q2M, avec le reclocker Kali et l'alim linéaire régulée, cable Mogami 3104 en bi-cablage sur des Tannoy D700. C'est le top. Je n'aurais jamais cru que mes CD étaient aussi bons.

parfait ! voilà un achat que je ne regrette pas ! il se monte facilement sur un PI3, couplé à l'écran oled et un bouton rotatif, c'est une source parfaite . Il fonctionne aussi très bien en solo , il faudra juste souder une barrette de 5 broches (dommage que cela ne soit pas d'origine). reconnu sous volumio via un plugin et picoreplayer en natif.

AUDIOPHONICS DAC I-Sabre ES9028Q2M Très bon DAC bas prix pour Raspberry Pi (à ma connaissance le meilleur). Je l'utilise avec un reclocker KALI + VOLUMIO. Le volume (HARDWARE) du DAC peut être piloté par VOLUMIO via un plugin mis à jour régulièrement en fonction des mise à jour du noyau Linux. il est compatible PCM 384Khz et DSD64 voir plus je crois (vive le monde de la haute définition). Le son est claire, limpide. J'ai un petit bémol sur la lecture des DSD64 (activer le DoP et ne pas laisser Direct sur VOLUMIO si non conversion en PCM), sur certains titre le son est atténué automatiquement, j'imagine que c'est un réglage de VOLUMIO. Ça ne vos pas un DAC à 500€, 1000€... Le son a moins de relief, moins centré. Vous me direz ce n'est pas du tout le même prix! Et c'est vrais. Cela reste un très bon DAC pour jouer des fichiers Hautes définitions.
