DAC ESS ES9038Q2M

This module is equipped with the excellent latest generation DAC ESS ES9038Q2M. This one offers very high flight digital-to-analog conversion performance. Taking advantage of HyperStream II technology, it will provide your system's playback both dynamic and detail, while reducing jitter and noise. In addition, it is capable of withstanding high sampling rates, which will delight the most audiophiles. So you can enjoy PCM playback up to 32bit 384kHz and DSD56.

In addition, the DAC includes several PCM filters, which will allow you to adapt the playback to your listening type or music:

  • Fast roll-off minimum
  • Slow roll-off minimum
  • Fast roll-off Linear
  • Slow roll-off Linear
  • Brickwall filter
  • Hybrid fast roll-off
  • Apodizing fast roll-off

The DAC is also supported by good components since we find for example on the PCB an AOP mounted on DIP8 NJM5532DD, interchangeable to adapt the restitution to your listening, or a clock 100MHz allowing to decrease the jitter. RCA and 3.5mm jack connectors benefit from gold plating for better conductivity.

TFT Display & Rotary Encoder

This DAC module comes with a TFT display that will allow you to enjoy a convenient display for viewing information and playback settings. This display will show the sample rate of the played file, the source, the file format (PCM/DSD), the volume attenuation level and the selected filter.

Of course, to be able to act on these parameters, the screen is accompanied by a rotary encoder. This will allow you to simply change source, filter and adjust volume.

  • Rotation to the left : Decrease the volume
  • Rotation vers la droite : Increase the volume
  • Short press : Change input
  • Long press : Change filter

In addition, the display module is equipped with an IR LED. For example, you can use a Metal Apple IR remote control (not included) to remotely control your DAC.

Once the screen is connected, you must set a jumper on J1 and J2 in order for it to work.

Écran TFT

Note about the power supply of this module (not supplied) It is possible to power this module in two different ways. It is recommended to use a +15V / -15V linear power supply. However, it is also possible to use a 15V AC adapter and power the module via the DC jack connector. If you choose this second option, we recommend performing a spot weld on the "J6" points of this module.

correct mais il manque une information
Il a fallu que j'aille chercher sur un site de vente chinoix concurrent pour trouver comment faire fonctionner cette carte une fois l'écran connecté :
vous devez mettre un jumper sur J1 et J2 sinon rien ne fonctionne. ceci n'est pas précisé ici.
