Here is an excellent and economical DAC module equipped with quality components and ready to be integrated into your DIY projects. It is based on proven components, a Cirrus Logic CS4816 chip for SPDIF reception and an AKM AK4396 digital/analogue converter.

This compact DAC card can convert digital signals up to PCM 24bit 192kHz.

To operate it requires a 30VA transformer with these voltages: 2x15V AC + 1x9V AC. The 15V AC is used for the analog part and the 9V AC for the digital part.

Les chips AKM sont excellents, pour avoir essayé avec succès différentes choses sur d'autres références, j'ai acheté cette carte "pour voir ce que donnait le 4393. Avec deux transfos et un boitier, il y a de quoi faire un bon petit Dac qui remettra à niveau un lecteur cd moyen pour un prix imbattable.
On peut changer l'aop de sortie si on le souhaite, il est monté sur support .Les diodes d'indication sont un peu trop lumineuses et pas déportées par contre...
