The DDRC-88D fits between your digital source and your DAC.

Like all DSP Dirac Live, DDRC88-8 offers to measure your listening space in all its complexity to automatically apply it several levels of acoustic compensation. In other words, this device is able to hear the specific sound to your installation in a given part to compensate for imperfections (as the resonance frequency of the room, for example, or latency caused by speaker speaker off-axis in a chamber). The processing algorithm is even able to correct variations of freqency and time caused by the physical presence of people listening in the room.

An accessible yet complete DSP

The special live Dirac DSP is to offer an extremely simple configuration method based on the successive positioning of a specific micro following a methodology step by step. In other words, simply tell the software your sound ambitions (life-size movie theater, home theater or listening room) and it will tell you where to position the microphone. Dirac will then automatically take action to "diagnose" the room and installation in comparison with an ideal model. This method of DSP configuration allows a result approaching the acoustic treatment without requiring any work or special knowledge in acoustics.

This stepwise adjustment allows you to enjoy a specifically configured DSP to meet your expectations in terms of problems inherent in your listening / listening room.

Naturally, the DDRC-88D algorithm is capable of handling multiple channels simultaneously. This will be used to configure a DSP sound systems on up to 8 channels (7.1). Automatic configuration of such a facility does not impose additional complexity.

Advanced Manual Configuration

Easy to connect
