The miniDSP Flex Eight is the latest member of the miniDSP Flex line of advanced audio processors. Here the brand takes advantage of its flexible hardware architecture to fit eight channels of digital signal processing and a high-quality analog output stage into a compact package.

With multiple digital inputs and eight single-ended analog output channels, the Flex Eight miniDSP can support up to four stereo channels of active speakers. Flexible 2x8 signal routing allows for many other configurations, such as two channels, three channels, and multiple subwoofers. As always, a full suite of proven audio processing features is included: parametric EQ, IIR and FIR filters, crossovers, advanced biquad programming and delay, on each output channel.

The Flex Eight has stereo digital inputs in USB-B, coaxial, Toslink optical and Bluetooth (aptX, LDAC) formats. An OLED display on the front panel and a volume control knob allow for easy control of the device. In addition, settings can be easily changed using the Stereo Dirac Live® acoustic correction software.
