The PI-24GC IEC reference socket is distinguished at first glance by its transparent nylon body with impeccable finish and ideal proportions. This chassis can accommodate the most sophisticated cables whose diameter is often incompatible with conventional mains sockets. With an insertion ring limiting the diameter to 16.5mm, supported by a flexible rubber cable clamp that completes the integration, the PI-24GC easily accommodates cables with a large cross-section.

All metal parts, in particular the contact and earth poles, have been plated with 24k 3µ gold. This full contact surface plating is stronger and better conductive than standard gold plating and is therefore more resistant. The internal connection terminals also deserve special attention: Equipped with large fixing screws, and therefore requiring no soldering, they are capable of receiving conductors of large diameter (up to 16mm² in cross-section!) which they ensure a firm hold on a particularly large and homogeneous contact surface.
