VIBORG VE503S Schuko Type E/F Power Connector Silver Plated Pure Copper Ø19mm

This high-end Schuko Viborg VE503S mains connector uses high-quality materials to provide the best possible electrical conductivity. Thus, the contacts are made of pure Copper and benefit from a double plating of OFC Copper and Silver. The body is made of a particularly resistant polycarbonate, Bayer Makrolon 2805. The assembly is extremely simple with a screw system, so no soldering is required. The connector accepts cables with a diameter from Ø6mm to Ø19mm and conductors with a maximum diameter of Ø4.5mm.

Fait le job pour les petits budgets, ne peut pas rivaliser avec du furutech FI 38 mais qui est tout de même deux fois plus cher.

Superb value for money
I have these coupled to Oyaide Tunami cables and they are every bit as good as far more expensive connectors. Sound is very neutral and the connector does the job of passing the signal as cleanly as it can.

The clamping mechanism is also a lot more cable friendly than other manufacturers who charge a lot more for phosphor bronze than pure copper! Shame Viborg didn't apply the same clamping mechanism to the IEC version of this connector.

Great connector
Build and finish is excellent. The cable clamping is very cable friendly, unlike Furutech and others that splay heavy gauge cables and I use 10AWG cables.

As plugs go, they impart great air and spaciousness to the sound.
