Dayton Audio DTA-Pro
Class D Amplifier Bluetooth Subwoofer Output 2x50W
The Dayton Audio DTA-Pro is a versatile Class D integrated amplifier, offering full connectivity and support for Bluetooth aptX 4.2 to stream music simply from your smartphone or other compatible device.
Efficient TAS5342A amplifier chip
The Dayton Audio DTA-Pro amplification stage uses a TAS5342A TI chip to deliver 2x50W at 4 Ohm with a high efficiency of 88%, allowing the amplifier to accompany many speaker models. In addition, this chip ensures a low level of noise and distortion for a highly accurate and transparent reproduction.
The TAS-5342A chip also includes a protection system against short circuits, overloads, undervoltages and excessive temperatures, as well as against a possible loss of the PWM signal.
PWM Processor
The DTA-Pro incorporates a TAS5508C PWM processor capable of automatically adjusting the amplifier configuration based on clock and data signals. In particular, it reduces jitter and therefore noise.
SA9023 / CS8416 Digital Interfaces & DAC PCM1808
The digital inputs of the DTA-Pro benefit from interfaces SA9023 and CS8416. With the latter, the Optical and Coaxial S/PDIF inputs support sampling rates up to 24bit 192kHz and the Micro USB input up to 24bit 96kHz. In addition, the amplifier includes a PCM1808 DAC for clean D/A conversion.
Subwoofer output
It is possible to connect a subwoofer to the DTA-Pro using the 2.7VRMS subwoofer output. It uses a NE5532 AOP that offers good audio performance in terms of noise but also high gain, low distortion, high scanning speed and many protections.
IR Remote Control
Dayton Audio provides with the DTA-Pro an IR remote control to control the amplifier and all its features. No need to get up to turn on the unit, adjust the volume, change the source or adjust the bass and treble.
