D802E High fidelity FDA FX Audio


The E version of FX Audio D802 FDA amplifiers serie now includes WiFi connection (DLNA) to complement Bluetooth connectivity.

This amplifier class D "Full Digital" fulfills by itself the essential functions of a complete audio system such as : source selection, receiving and decoding audio stream, volume control and power amplification.

It offers many possibilities regarding connections and setup with allows it to fit very small places. With a Bluetooth / WiFi input, a OTG-compatible USB port, a Toslink input , a Coaxial input and n additionnal analog RCA input, one can easily plug in simultaneously a computer / digital player, a TV and a CD with the appropriate connectors .

Once the installation is complete, the system works with a remote control (included) or from the front panel interface to select the active source and send the amplified signal to the speakers.

D802E wireless multiroom

WiFi, DLNA & Multiroom


The D802E now includes a Linkplay A3 module. The latter offers WiFi connectivity that has been specially developed for audio use with native DLNA & Multiroom support.

This Wi-Fi connection with DLNA offers features similar to a Network Drive to the D802E, which can receive the audio stream from a simple application running on a smartphone / tablet.

Broadband connectivity (802.11b / g / n with a bandwidth of 300Mbps) authorizes the transfer of dematerialized audio streams up to 192kHz / 24-bit.

Finally, this feature is not exclusive to a single device, since this use may extend to multiroom installation. That is to say, one can install multiple D802E, each connected to its pair of passive speakersand control each of them or alltogether from a single connected device.

In DLNA, the device does not allow volume control and performs downsampling at 48kHz.

CM6642 Chip High Speed ​​USB - audio class


The control chip / CM6642 conversion can work with resolutions up to 24 bit / 192kHz.

This chip natively supports audio codecs decoding and has interesting specifications as regard to general sound quality (THD + N ≥100dB @ 1kHz ≤0.005%)

To facilitate installation, compatibility, and avoid wasting time on the software configuration, this amplifier requires no driver to operate. The USB input is automatically recognized by all devices. Including smartphones that are OTG ready.

Besides being able to work with other D802E for a massive sound in multiple rooms, the latter is also a headphone amplifier that will provide high quality listening space to a single person .

Headphone amplifier is available thanks to a MAX9722 Stereo Audio DirectDrive chip. With differential inputs, this component is a reference in FX-Audio devices and most of its products use this chip as a headphone amplifier.

The DAC used only for the headphone output is an AKM 4452. A high-performance 32Bit DAC with a signal-to-noise ratio of 115dB.

This output is on a 6.35mm jack port with gold plated connectors for a clean, clear signal.

PCM1808 ADC 48 kHz / 24-bit


Few FDA are equipped with a ADC chip (analog to digital) exceeding 44kHz / 16-bit. Typically, the analog input is incidental and merely offers minimum requirements for occasional applications (such as connecting a modest vinyl player or a smartphone does not have the right connections).

Here, the AUX (RCA) analog input is far from an occasionnal solution since PCM1808 ADC chip is capable of sampling the signal to a resolution of 48 kHz / 24-bit. Meaning that the analog input will draw a higher resolution than CD quality from a decent analog signal.

The PCM1808 chip operates with a signal / noise ratio of 99dB and a THD + N of -93dB. If the analog signal processing remains a secondary function like in any full digital amplifier, the D802E offers nevertheless a headphone output that is well above what the market has to offer.

The amplifier can be controlled with your smartphone via a DLNA/UPnP application such as BubbleUPnP, iMediaShare or ArkMC UPnP. Livraison rapide , produit facile à configurer. Écran minuscule et télécommande surprenante dans l’organisation des fonctions ...mais le son est là suffisant pour sonorisé une télé avec deux enceintes bibliothèque . Les préréglages de sons très marqués permettent au moins de trouver un bon niveau de volume sur les voix pour certaines chaînes ou support médiocres. Voilà content de cet ampli qui en donne largement pour son prix .

après échange rapide aux frais d'audiophonics, j'ai reçu un modèle parfaitement fonctionnel, connexion WIFI immédiate, merci au support !
je confirme le plaisir constant à écouter de la musique via cet ampli, donne vie même à des MP3 moyens. Ecoute aussi bien sur des colonnes de bonne sensibilité que des bibliothèques. puissance largement suffisante.

Bon petit ampli pour mon usage
Vraiment bon ampli pour mon usage. Format compact. faible consommation. Pour la durabilité on verra à l'usage.

Utilisé sur ma TV en sortie optique du décodeur 4K pour remplacer mon très ancien ensemble audiophile (qui était déjà réutilisé sur ma TV).
Je cherche à bien entendre les voix. Sur certaines chaines la qualité du son est mauvaise. Idem pour certaines séries TV.
Je connecte ce D802E sur mes "Vecteur" première (2x60W je crois). Volume très bas. Heureusement je découvre la touche gain de la télécommande alors tout s'arrange.
Résumé :
- Volume suffisant sans distorsion. Suffisant pour écouter un film d'action en mode "fort".
- Equaliseur violent... sauf modes "Normal" et "Soft Rock". J'utilise ce dernier.
- A quoi sert la touche direct ? Les modes Hi-Fi et Tone on passent par l'équaliseur. Il y a cependant une infime différence audible dans les basses (ou bien est-ce un infime delta de volume ?).
- Le volume dans mon casque Bose quietcomfort ii (jack) est un peu faible. Le gain passe en low au branchement (securité ?). Il faut passer en high puis monter le son sur le décodeur canal (l'ampli est à volume 80 pour le casque et 60 pour le reste).
- Bluetooth ok
- Wifi ok avec Muzo. Attention attention attention à bien prérégler le volume avant d'envoyer la musique !
- La télécommande est peu sensible il faut se rapprocher
- On entend un très très léger "vibrato numérique" sur les voix masculines moyennes et féminines pas trop aigues. C'est mon premier FDA. Ce n'est pas du tout gênant.
- La doc est succincte...

les plus :
livraison rapide, fabrication de qualité, fonctionnement intuitif, son très bon sur de petites enceintes (un peu moins de volume de graves sur des bibliothèques), bluetooth OK, PC/USB OK, bref conforme à mes attentes.
les moins :
impossible de le connecter au réseau en wifi pour activer la fonction DLNA, motif de mon achat. les réseau adhoc est très faible, aucune des procédures de raccordement ne fonctionne, la doc est succincte.
bilan : excellent support très réactif sur le site, après diagnostic retour aux frais d'audiophonics, j'attends la suite...
