There are 2 operating modes:
eARC activated: The stream is sent to the TV, then returns to eARC to the AVR amplifier on OUT2
The volume can be controlled by the TV, but the audio format is limited to the ARC or eARC capabilities of the TV.

eARC disabled: The TV still receives the stream, but the OUT2 output extracts the audio stream directly from the source.
The CEC is kept but the volume will be managed on the amplifier.
This allows you to play an audio format ex: DTS-HD MA on the AVR amplifier that the TV does not manage, while sending 4K HDR to the TV that the amplifier does not manage.

EDID:
Choice of the port used for the detection of the supported formats.
Ex: If the TV does not support DTS, EDID must be set to 2 for the source to detect the sound capabilities of the amplifier.
