The CYP CP-259UHD is a HDMI to HDMI UHD video scaler. It lets you connect your audio/video devices with an HDMI output to a latest-generation TV or monitor using an HDMI input.

Compact and versatile, it accepts a wide range of resolutions up to 4K@60Hz (4096×2160p, 4:4:4, 8-bit). It's easy to use, since the unit is able to automatically detect the parameters of the screen connected to its HDMI output in order to adapt the best output resolution and refresh rate to the screen. A Bypass mode is also available for unaltered signal retransmission.

This Video Scaler supports adaptive 3D deinterlacing and 3:2 / 2:2 framerate conversion.

The box directly integrates EDID and HDCP management.

Overall, the CYP CP-259UHD supports a wide range of audio formats, including LPCM 2.0/5.1/7.1, Bitstream and HD Bitstream via HDMI. Support for embedded or extracted audio is possible via its optical digital and stereo analog inputs and outputs (LPCM 2.0 only).

In addition to its upscaling function, the CYP CP-259UHD offers a wide range of options for perfecting the picture. Three buttons on the front panel provide access to and control of an overlay menu, offering adjustment of contrast, brightness, hue, saturation, sharpness, color tone, levels and screen aspect ratio.

It's also from this well thought-out OSD menu that you can set audio & video output preferences (activate or deactivate one or more outputs).
