This HDMI audio extractor can retrieve up to 8 channels of the LPCM stream from an HDMI source, allowing you to convert a high-quality HDMI audio stream into a multi-channel analog signal for use with active speakers or AV receivers that do not have HDMI connectivity. Bitstream extraction is also supported via an Optical S/PDIF output.

The HDMI input and output support 4K UHD resolutions up to 4K 60Hz (4:4:4, 8bit) and are capable of delivering excellent audio and video performance. The unit also supports HD Bitstream audio formats, as well as standard Bitstream and LPCM 7.1 formats with sample rates up to 192kHz. Built-in support for EDID configuration allows you to choose from multiple profiles and, using optional PC software, download, upload or edit EDID files.
