HDMI 1.4 Audio Optical Toslink 5.1 Extractor ARC Function Silver
This small SMSL SH-1 converter allows you to extract digital audio from an HDMI source for separate amplification or decoding into 5.1 LPCM channels on Toslink optics. Its superior electronic quality ensures a good transmission quality unlike competitive models of the same price.
The FN button on the front panel allows the ARC functions to be locked. An analog output on a 3.5mm jack allows the stereo connection of headphones for listening to TV for example or for active speakers and hifi amplifiers or Home Cinema.
This module can also be used to connect a sound bar that does not have HDMI inputs. The SH-1 can be powered by a 5V USB port on the TV for example or by a micro USB charger adapter for smartphones.
