The BC130 Nyx Net Pentaconn DD HIFI headphone cable features a high-end design with audiophile-grade materials. It features a balanced, gold-plated 4.4mm jack Pentaconn termination and DD HIFI's proprietary interchangeable connector system, allowing the user to choose between an MMCX or CIEM 0.78mm connection. This cable's OCC copper conductors feature a litz-wire structure for optimum signal transmission. In addition, this cable features a shield and two layers of internal insulation for effective protection against interference and to reduce noise levels. This makes the cable ideal for use with IEMs or high-end headphones, and for demanding music lovers.
DD Nyx Net Pentaconn: An audiophile structure
DD HIFI Nyx Net Standard features 25.4AWG OFC copper conductors in a (1xØ0.08mm + 8x Ø0.05mm) x7 x4 configuration, and an overall Litz wire structure. These features ensure optimum signal transmission. In addition, shielding protects it from interference, and each conductor is individually insulated to preserve the transmission of different frequencies. These include HDPE insulation and SoftFlex PVC insulation.
DD Nyx Net Pentaconn: Interchangeable connectors
The Pentaconn version of the Nyx Net HIFI DD features, as its name suggests, a balanced Pentaconn 4.4mm jack termination with gold-plated OFC copper contacts, as well as interchangeable connectors allowing a choice between MMCX and CIEM 0.78mm. This cable is therefore compatible with the majority of IEMs available on the market. In addition, 3 versions of CIEM 0.78mm connectors are included:
- a transparent body for the 3.0mm version
- a black body for the 3.5mm version
- a flat body for the non-recessed version
DD Nyx Net Pentaconn: 4.4mm Pentaconn jack termination
The DD HIFI Nyx Net Pentaconn cable termination features a high-quality NBP1-14-001 connector with gold-plated OFC copper contacts for a reliable connection.
