Topping Hynotone Ares Guitar distortion pedal
Topping, following on from its Topping Professional range of USB audio interfaces, unveils a guitar distortion pedal as part of its new Hynotone range. The pedal is based on a 5-stage JFET circuit, faithfully reproducing the warm, dynamic character of the tube designs favored by musicians.
Ideal for styles such as metal or hard rock, the Topping Hynotone Ares pedal offers a complete interface for adjusting the sound to your preferences. It incorporates three EQ potentiometers (Bass, Mid, Treble), a volume control, a gain control, and three switches with specific functions: “Bite”, “Tight” and “Boost”. Thanks to its design, it's perfectly suited to 7-string guitars and Drop tunings.
Please note that the pedal's power supply is 9V via DC 5.5/2.1mm jack negative center (Typ: 10mA / Max: 100mA).

The Topping Hynotone Ares 5-stage JFET circuit delivers the warmth and dynamics characteristic of tube amplifiers, while maintaining excellent tonal clarity. The result is organic, reactive distortion, faithful to the nuances of the guitarist's playing.

Equipped with a true tone stack, the Hynotone Ares Topping pedal features Bass, Mid and Treble controls, faithfully reproducing the EQ control of tube amplifiers. This flexibility allows guitarists to sculpt their sound with great precision, whether it's a big, saturated sound or a sharper, more defined distortion.

The BITE function of this distortion pedal adds raw, gritty distortion by enhancing the midrange.
TIGHT
The TIGHT function, for its part, refines the bass for a more aggressive and precise sound.
BOOST
With a built-in BOOST function, the Ares distortion pedal tightens the bass and enhances the midrange, delivering an aggressive, modern sound.
