With the Salnotes Dioko, 7HZ has teamed up with Crinacle, renowned for its expertise in IEM, to offer in-ear monitors based on a Ø14.6mm planar magnetic driver and accompanied by a host of technologies to deliver a natural sound experience with transparent timbre and remarkable definition.
7Hz Salnotes Dioko: Ø14.6mm magnetic planar driver
The Salnotes Dioko feature a planar magnetic driver with a double acoustic cavity and a Ø14.6mm diaphragm. This is optimised to make the most of the ribbon distribution used on the diaphragm, improving phase coherence and giving a more linear frequency response. Furthermore, its large size increases the surface area of vibration, reducing harmonic distortion and resulting in a soundstage with improved resolution.
7Hz Salnotes Dioko: Frequency response
To perfect the settings of the chosen driver, 7Hz teamed up with the renowned audio critic Crinacle. The combined experience of the brand and Crinacle resulted in a balanced frequency response, the fruit of an integrative tuning strategy.
Thanks to structural adjustment techniques, the bass of the Salnotes Dioko is punchy, while retaining a neutral midrange for a precision comparable to that of monitoring headphones. The treble of the Salnotes Dioko is natural, but makes full use of the characteristics of the planar magnetic driver, namely perfect presentation of detail and great transparency. The calibration of the Salnotes Dioko is inspired by Crinacle's own definition of what natural, balanced earphones should be, adapted for professional use.
7Hz Salnotes Dioko: Dual N55 configuration
The Salnotes Dioko planar magnetic driver features a dual N55 magnet structure, positioned on either side of the diaphragm. These extremely powerful magnets, combined with the structure of the magnetic circuit, maximise the effective magnetic flux to drive the current more effectively, resulting in increased sensitivity.
7Hz Salnotes Dioko: Sophisticated aesthetics
Featuring a high-quality CNC-machined aluminium body, the earphones are durable and lightweight, perfect for everyday wear. The solid metal casing provides sound insulation, so you can concentrate on your music. Furthermore, the surface of the shell has undergone a very high level of hard oxidation treatment, making the surface durable and resistant to abrasion.
For a luxurious finish, the Salnotes Dioko have a tempered glass back with a sapphire coating and an anti-scratch coating.
7Hz Salnotes Dioko: Silver-plated OCC copper cable
The Salnotes Dioko come with a detachable cable made from a mix of OCC copper and silver-plated OCC copper. With a total of 216 strands interwoven in litz wire, this cable ensures optimum signal transmission, allowing you to take full advantage of the performance of your earphones.
