In order to offer the best possible sound reproduction, Hifiman has equipped the Svanar LE with a 100% analogue DAC. This is the R2R Hymalaya digital/analogue conversion module, miniaturised to fit in your ear. This high-quality DAC is accompanied by 45mW of amplification at 32Ω for a total harmonic distortion rate of just 0.0005%.

HiFiMAN Svanar Wireless LE: Topological diaphragm

The ‘topological diaphragm’ refers to a diaphragm whose surface is coated with a special nanoparticle-based coating. The result is a more natural and detailed sound than that generally obtained with wireless earphones. The idea behind the new topological membrane was inspired by Dr Fang Bian's doctoral thesis, which states that ‘different nanomaterials have different structures and each of these materials has its own properties’. Therefore, by carefully controlling the surface structure of the diaphragm, we can achieve different results that are superior in terms of acoustic performance to a degree previously unattainable.
