With the KLEE, iBasso is offering dynamic in-ear earphones with a stainless steel body and a magnetic-lithium alloy membrane driver, a technology usually found in much more expensive earphones.
iBasso KLEE: Magnesium-lithium alloy diaphragm
The dynamic driver fitted to KLEE earphones has a 10mm-diameter diaphragm made from a magnesium-lithium alloy. This alloy has the dual advantage of being both extremely light and highly rigid. This enables the dynamic driver to offer a very good transient response, to provide better treble extension with greater clarity and finesse, and to reduce unwanted distortion and resonance to a minimum.
iBasso KLEE: Double magnetic circuit
To make the most of the magnesium-lithium alloy diaphragm, the KLEE incorporates a dual magnetic circuit for a total magnetic flux of 1.6T. This increased power allows for greater sensitivity, reduced distortion and improved transient response, all of which result in more accurate sound reproduction, with dynamic bass and clear midrange.
iBasso KLEE: Double Helmholtz resonance cavity
In order to refine its sound signature and control its frequency response as effectively as possible, the KLEE uses a double Helmholtz acoustic cavity to deliver furthermore punchy bass while attenuating parasitic resonances.
iBasso KLEE: Stainless steel housing
The body of the KLEE is made of stainless steel, adding a touch of luxury to a sober design featuring reflective surfaces.
iBasso KLEE: Silver-plated copper cable
The KLEE is supplied with a silver-plated copper cable. The cable has a litz wire structure and is made up of 7 conductors, each with a cross-section of 0.06mm². The cable termination is detachable and comes with 3.5mm and 4.4mm jack connectors.
