IO Audio Volare In-Ear Monitor Dynamic 4.8 Ohm 121dB 10Hz-40kHz
Volare in-ear monitors from IO Audio are IEMs featuring a hybrid 1DD+4BA+4EST design. The dynamic driver handles the low frequencies and channels, while the Balanced Armature drivers the mids and the electrostatics the highs, resulting in an extended frequency response of 10Hz-40kHz. This configuration delivers a balanced, immersive sound reproduction with a rather soft, clear timbre. The IO Audio Volaire are rather easy to drive, thanks to their low impedance of 4.8Ω and high sensitivity of 121dB. These headphones come with a detachable audiophile cable with 0.78mm CIEM connectors and interchangeable terminations: balanced 4.4mm jack, balanced 2.5mm jack and 3.5mm jack.
IO Audio Volare: 1DD+4BA+4EST configuration
With this configuration, each type of driver is able to handle specific frequencies harmoniously, thanks to a 4-way crossover. This enables the Volare to cover a wide frequency range for detailed, immersive sound reproduction.
IO Audio Volare: 4-way crossover
IO Audio Volare IEMs use a physical crossover system in addition to their electronic crossover to reduce the latter's action and prioritize the Volare's acoustic structure. This choice has been made to ensure a more natural, softer sound.
IO Audio Volare: Reference equalization
The Volare frequency response curve is optimized in relation to the average transfer function of the human ear (HRTF), for a purer, clearer rendering of sound as it reaches the eardrum.
IO Audio Volare: An audiophile cable
Volare in-ear monitors come with a detachable cable featuring OFC 6N and silver-plated OFC copper conductors for optimum signal transmission. In addition, 0.78mm CIEM connectors on the IEM side and interchangeable termination ensure a high level of compatibility: balanced 4.4mm jack, balanced 2.5mm jack and single-ended 3.5mm jack. There's also a 3.5mm jack to 6.35mm jack adapter to cover every conceivable situation.
