The Rai Solo was developed by Meze to offer audiophiles in-ear headphones with a neat design and excellent performance at a low price. Ergonomic design, stainless steel shell, UPM dynamic speakers, everything is designed to deliver a rich and pure listening experience.

With these IEMs, Meze moved towards a neutral but dynamic and controlled sound signature. In terms of design, the Rai Solo is based on the design of its older brother, the Rai Penta. The use of metal injection moulding for the earphone body results in a complex interior design that can be achieved in series and with high precision.

UPM Drivers

The loudspeakers used in the IEM Meze Rai Solo take advantage of UPM's design, which is much more powerful than a conventional loudspeaker. This technology reduces harmonic distortion, provides clear midrange and incredible low-frequency reproduction.

Standard driver diaphragm

In a traditional electrodynamic loudspeaker, the coil connecting wires are glued directly to the back of the thin membrane. This is the main asymmetric vibration factor.

Wire free UPM design

The new UPM loudspeaker eliminates this vibration problem: the entire diaphragm is conductive and no wires are stuck to the diaphragm. The result is an equal piston movement over the entire membrane, without disturbance due to the imbalance created by the wires.
