Moondrop's Ultrasonic wireless earphones each feature a balanced armature tweeter with a lithium-magnesium alloy diaphragm and a 13mm dynamic driver with a sapphire composite diaphragm, ensuring high-quality sound reproduction across the entire spectrum. Furthermore, these earphones are compatible with LDAC and LC3 Bluetooth codecs for fast Bluetooth transmission without losing any of the detail of your favourite music.
Moondrop's Ultrasonic earphones are fitted with custom MAT01D-FRA balanced armature tweeters. These use direct radiation from the diaphragm to capture high-frequency sound waves, reducing the resonance wave generated by the acoustic nozzle structure of conventional balanced armature drivers, allowing a wider frequency response in the treble.
Furthermore, MAT01D-FRA tweeters use a lithium-magnesium alloy cone. This alloy has a density of just 1.5g/cm³, less than beryllium (1.85g/cm³), while offering excellent damping and rigidity characteristics. As a result, this new alloy offers exceptional sound performance, surpassing even the pure beryllium diaphragms commonly used in high-end audio systems.
the Supersonic earphones use a 13 mm dynamic driver with a sapphire composite cone to provide effective bass and midrange coverage, ensuring rich sound reproduction throughout the frequency range.
In order to transmit high-resolution music files, Moondrop's Ultrasonic earphones support the LDAC high-definition lossless audio transmission protocol, which can transmit 24-bit/96kHz at data rates of up to 990kbps, amply satisfying hardware requirements for dynamic range and frequency bandwidth.
Furthermore, Ultrasonic earphones are compatible with the LC3 encoding and decoding protocol based on the new Bluetooth LE Audio standard. When combined with a device that is also compatible with this standard, this means not only much lower latency than traditional Bluetooth, but also excellent high-fidelity signal transmission.
Moondrop Ultrasonic wireless earphones feature two modes: noise reduction and transparency. The first reduces background noise while preserving low frequencies, thanks to an innovative approach to noise reduction based solely on external sounds rather than on successive processing loops of the sound produced by the earphones. Although this solution is more difficult for the manufacturer to calibrate, it avoids the degradation of the sound signal that is usually inherent in conventional noise reduction methods.
Transparency mode focuses on the frequency band specific to the human voice. In this way, the user can enjoy a perfectly clear conversation while reducing furthermore high-pitched or low-pitched environmental sounds.
Using the Moondrop Link app available on iOS and Android, you can also select 5 different EQ settings to suit your tastes.
