With the NM20, NF ACOUS presents us with in-ear monitors designed for professional use, offering a very neutral frequency response. A direct descendant of the NM2, these earphones take everything that made the previous model such a success, while improving the driver, structure and user experience.
NF ACOUS NM20: MC2L-100P driver
The NM20 features a dynamic driver with a beryllium-plated diaphragm, accompanied by a double neodymium magnetic circuit and a double acoustic chamber. Uniquely, this driver is driven by a high-precision PCB to ensure identical sound reproduction in all circumstances.
NF ACOUS NM20: Clutter trap
The NM20 earphones also feature the company's proprietary 'Clutter Trap' technology. This consists of a set of 5 air pressure damping nets and 2 attenuation sponges to prevent sound refraction. The result is equivalent pressure between the front and rear of the earphone cavity, for a sound reproduction as close as possible to the original.
NF ACOUS NM20: Polycarbonate and aluminum structure
NM20s are made of high-strength polycarbonate (PC) with a frosted surface for a beautiful matte finish. The metal surround is CNC-machined aluminum. Finally, the 0.78mm connectors have been redesigned for simpler connection and greater durability.
NF ACOUS NM20: Neutral frequency response
The NM20 have been designed with professional use in mind, so they benefit from a very neutral frequency response, reproducing the original music as closely as possible. To achieve this, NF ACOUS deploys a range of techniques to obtain good bass below 100Hz, evenly covering the whole audible spectrum.
