Triple Hybrid driver
The ME500 simultaneously exploit several different IEM driver technologies (hybrid driver). This approach is particularly suited when building high IEMs since it allows to locally use the specific advantages of each technology to overcome the weaknesses inherent in a "simple" building model.
A single earpiece includes a very sophisticated set with a double magnet, OFC coil, diaphragm Nanocomposite and a set of symmetrical frame motors. The first provide generous headroom, low robust and accurate. The engines provide reinforcement for their speed and accuracy doubled in the medium / high medium / high.
Balanced driver KNOWLES
Shanling's ME500 embarks very high performance Knowles frame TWFK-30017 drivers. This model is particularly popular for IEM because its level of detail in the mid / trebble without undue "glossyness" or over-sharpness at the top of the spectrum. This promotes an excellent understanding of the signal without causing fatigue listening.
The team of acoustic engineers Knowles has even contributed to the integration of the engine to allow ME500 to use all the qualities of this component.
Dynamic Driver owner
In addition to the dual Knowles driver, each ME500 includes a proprietary 10mm double driver magnet (> 1 tesla). This component works with a OFC coil and a diaphragm nanocomposite Polyethylene / Polyether ether ketone.
This contributes very significantly to the dynamics (magnetic flux density). This type of driver is distinguished by its excellent energetic efficiency and outstanding transient response, making it a prime candidate for driving dynamics ME500.
Silver plated OFC cable
The supplied cable has 8 cores each composed of 18 conductors silver-plated OFC. Each core is protected by an individual TPE sheeth before being braided and get excellent strength.
The interconnect cable is equipped with connectors MMCX and may be easily replaced in case of loss or breakage. The other end has a connector 3.5mm gold-plated standard.
Supplied with Metal carrying case
The ME500 come with their robust transport metal box, elegant and easy to carry. This accessory makes it easy to take your ME500 when not in use, while providing mechanical protection of all sensitive parts. This significantly increases the life of the headphones.
