Thieaudio Hype 10 (HyPe for Hybrid Performance) are a pair of high-end in-ear monitors from the brand's Hype series. These earphones use 10 Balanced Armature drivers for treble, midrange and bass, as well as IMPACT² technology consisting of 2 x 10mm diaphragms for infrabass. This configuration enables them to achieve an extended frequency response (10Hz-40kHz) and, consequently, a wide soundstage rich in detail, with deep, immersive bass. THIEAUDIO's Hype 10 is of course equipped with equalization to achieve the brand's signature sound reproduction so appreciated by its fans. It also features an audiophile cable with silver-plated OCC pure copper conductors.
Thieaudio Hype 10: a 10-driver hybrid design
The Hype 10 structure incorporates two Knowles SWFK 31736 ultra-tweeters, two Sonion E50DT midrange drivers and two Sonion 28UAP woofers combined with 4 independent acoustic chambers for high-fidelity sound reproduction. Knowles SWFK 31736 tweeters were chosen for their high-frequency extension up to 40kHz and their compatibility with the Sonion E50DT. This combination ensures perfect cohesion in the transition between treble and midrange, for a highly detailed level of rendering. As for the 28UAP drivers already present on the brand's signature series, they integrate perfectly with IMPACT² technology to enhance the infrabass.
Thieaudio Hype 10: IMPACT² technology for immersive infrabass
IMPACT² technology, consisting of 2 composite diaphragms of 10mm each, positioned according to an isobaric design, considerably enhances the texture of bass resounding at 300Hz, while preserving a beautiful tonality.
Thieaudio Hype 10: a balanced response curve
The Hype 10's flat midrange between 300Hz and 1kHz brings out the natural tonality of instruments and voices. The highs have been equalized to match the lows, for a clear, richly detailed sound reproduction.
Thieaudio Hype 10: an audiophile cable
This pair of in-ear monitors comes with a 1.2m cable featuring a 3.5mm jack and 0.78mm CIEM tips, as well as a variety of silicone and foam eartips. The cable conductors are made of silver-plated OCC pure copper for enhanced signal conductivity.
